The world's first ground support fuel cell vehicle was unveiled at Memphic International Airport in April. This marked the start of a two year program during which a 15 vehicle fleet will service Federal Express's airport hub, saving over 663000 litres of diesel fuel. Plug Power provided the fuel cells and hydrogen for the project, which is partly funded by the DOE Fuel Cell Technologies office. Since Toyota introduced its new fuel cell vehicle, Mirai, in November of 2014, it has received 1500 orders for the car. This greatly surpasses the car maker‘s inition projections of sales reaching 400 vehicles by the end of 2015.  See WSJ article....
