Icelandic New Energy celebrated its 20th anniversary by hosting a workshop on the topic:\u00a0Will Iceland be fossil free by 2040?<\/em><\/h2>\n

As INE’s mission is to eliminate fossil fuel in Icelandic transport, it was fitting that the topic for the company’s anniversary workshop was\u00a0Will Iceland be fossil free by 2040?\u00a0<\/em>Five presentations were given by experts in the field, and a discussion panel followed.<\/p>\n

The panel included representatives of INE shareholding companies: J\u00f3hannes \u00deorleiksson, Veitur Utility, Krist\u00edn Vala Matth\u00edasd\u00f3ttir, HS Orka, Stefan\u00eda G. Halld\u00f3rsd\u00f3ttir, National Power Company and \u00deorsteinn Ingi Sigf\u00fasson, Innovation Center Iceland. Edda Sif Arad\u00f3ttir, Chairman of the INE Board chaired the session.
