H2 Iceland has operated two HRS since 2018, one in Reykjav\u00edk and the other bordering Keflavik International Airport. An essential step for the energy transition of larger vehicles and heavy-duty transport, the development will also enable H2 cars to travel around the island of Iceland.&#13;\n&#13;\nAs reported by news site <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mbl.is\/vidskipti\/frettir\/2023\/02\/13\/baeta_vid_fjorum_vetnisstodvum\/\">Mbl.is<\/a> and the local <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vb.is\/frettir\/orkan-selur-50-hlut-i-islenska-vetnisfelaginu\/\">Business News<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">The two HRS were deployed as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/h2me.eu\/\">Hydrogen Mobility Europe<\/a> project, in which Icelandic New Energy is a partner. The project has received funding from the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen 2 Joint Undertaking (now Clean Hydrogen Partnership) under Grant Agreement No 671438 &amp; No 700350.
