RECET is a three-year project funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/cinea.ec.europa.eu\/programmes\/life_en\">EU LIFE programme<\/a>. The group discussed the main priorities on the first day and got aligned. On the second day, representatives of Energiakademiet from Sams\u00f8, Denmark led a training session, focusing on ways to mobilize stakeholders to work on energy and climate goals and the creation of climate plans in participating regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The RECET consortium consists of nine partners from five European countries. Representing Iceland, Icelandic New Energy and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eimur.is\/\">Eimur<\/a> in addition to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssne.is\/\">Association of Municipalities and Business Development in the North East &#8211; SSNE<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vestfirdir.is\/\">Westfjords Regional Development Office (Vestfjar\u00f0astofa)<\/a>. From Denmark, <a href=\"https:\/\/energiakademiet.dk\/\">Sams\u00f8 Energiakademi<\/a>, from Slovenia the regional development office <a href=\"https:\/\/iskriva.net\/en\/\">Zavod Iskriva<\/a>, and the municipality <a href=\"https:\/\/www.postojna.si\/\">Ob\u010dina Postojna<\/a>, from Spain the island council <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cime.es\/\">Consell Insular de Menorca<\/a>, and from Sweden <a href=\"https:\/\/energikontorsyd.se\/\">Energikontor Syd<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a great couple of days, we are excited for the upcoming 3 years!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The&nbsp; RECET project (Rural Europe for the Clean Energy Transition)&nbsp; had its first in-person meeting in Postojna, Slovenia, November 7-8, 2023.
