The National Power Company and Linde Gas Iceland announced a collaboration with two local fuel companies, N1 and Olís, the objetive of whic is to develop the green hydrogen value chain in Iceland. The partners aim to make hydrogen a viable option for transport in Iceland, especially for distribution, heavy transport and larger vehicles, where direct electrification is less suitable.
The announcement marks an important step in the development of the value chain for hydrogen in Iceland and should accelerate further deployment of refuelling infrastructure around the country.
