INE takes over Hafið Center of Excellence
Jón Björn Skúlason General Manager of Icelandic New Energy, Edda Sif Pind Aradóttir Chairman of the Board at Icelandic New Energy, Sigríður Ragna Sverrisdóttir, retiring Manager of Hafið Center of Excellence and Jón Ágúst Þorsteinsson Chairman of the Board at Hafið Center of Excellence at the signature of the partnership agreement.
Last week, Icelandic New Energy and Hafið Center of Excellence signed an agreement for INE to take over daily operations and project management of Hafið Center of Excellence.
The main goal of Hafið, which was founded in 2014, is to provide a collaboration platform for businesses, government institutions and research foundations to develop technology, regulation and other instruments by which to protect the ocean and utilise marine resources sustainably.
