The Icelandic Energy Fund announced this year’s grant recipients. The call closed on May 7th. This time, while 199 project consortia applied for a total of EUR 28 million (ISK 3927.6 M), EUR 6.3 million was distributed among 137 initiatives.

The grant categories were: improved energy efficiency, reduced industrial oil consumption, electrofuels, biofuels and methane, charging stations for transport and, finally, clean energy in the maritime sector.
